The HOOP project will participate in an event organised by the Colombian Instituto de Investigación de Recursos Biológicos Alexander von Humboldt, in collaboration with Fundación para el desarrollo de la Región Probogotá (Colombia), Universidad del Rosario (Colombia) and Instituto de Ambiente de Estocolmo. It will take place in Bogotá, Colombia from 7 to 10 November 2023.
The main aim of the event is to support and shape the design of a new Bioeconomy innovation Hub for Bogotá and the surrounding region. HOOP Coordinator, CETENMA, will take part in the event ‘Active bioeconomy: explore, connect and act for the capital city’, and will hold networking activities with stakeholders and bilateral meetings. The main topics discussed will be: barriers for the deployment of urban bioeconomy, how to unlock urban bioeconomy investments (PDA and HOOP methodology), how to develop a network of cities/regions, tools for the evaluation of circularity, project maturity, and best available technologies.
